Today marked my first day of my journey to accumulate $20k in 90 days with the help from Stephen Pierce course - “Internet Profit Taker” that I signed up during Anthony Robbins - “Unlimited Power” seminar recently on 4th Sept 2007.

In fact 15 minutes ago I just completed the module 1 of Stephen Pierce Internet Profit Taker course. I am so excited that I want to write down what I learn from the module 1 - “Mindset” here. It is also one way for me to summarize as writing it down will make me remember better.

In addition, I am currently applying the skill that I learned from Alvin Phang - “AtomicBlogging” ebook. I just completed reading it this afternoon. I am trying to use the SEO skill that being taught in Atomic Blogging so hopefully my blog will become search engine friendly and able to drive lots and lots of traffic. I am also applying other techniques that covered by Alvin in AtomicBlogging. Let me see how the result afterwards

Ok back to my topic on Stephen Pierce Internet Profit Taker Course. In this module 1 - “Mindset”, I was listening to the interview by Stephen with Mike Litman. At first I do not know who is Mike Litman. After searching for his biography in google (Actually Stephen is introducing him in the audio but I did not know at first and search his name in google). Congratulations to me, I know another millionaire mentor. He is also #1 Best Selling Author of “Conversations With Millionaires.”

Now I am going to write the great summarize on what I learned from the interview. Please read it and absorb it as I pay to get this information. I am going to share with you as Anthony Robbins once said “We have to learn to be a giver. Give more and you will receive more happiness.” So I will do it. No harm giving for free right??

These are the 2 powerful questions that Mike encourage us to ask ourselves now at this moment

1. What is one thing that I don’t want to do today, but if I did, it would change my life and/or my business?
2. How will I benefit from doing it?

Spend some time to answer those questions as they would absolutely boost your performance. I did answer those 2 questions.

1. The thing that I don’t want to do today is updating my blog because I am very sleepy now and want to throw myself to my bed. I still have one more things to do is to help to review my gf’s report.
2. I’m still doing this because the benefit that I want is to apply the knowledge that I learned from AtomicBlogging ebook and want to drive lots of traffic so that I can monetize my blog. I really want to experience making money from blog eventhough it is only $1 haha

Ok so the next statement from Mike is:

Rich people always focus on the Rewards not the Process.

I will try my best to elaborate what it means by showing the example that he was giving during the interview: (I know it is long and make sure you read it till end ok)

You are a doing a network marketing business and you are still not generating any sales because you do not make calls to your leads. You did not want to make a call to 10 people, 5 people or 1 people because you are afraid and do not know what to talk about. Make calls is actually the process. This is why people are not successful because they always concentrate on the process but forget about the rewards.

Out of ten people you call, if one person decided to join you, how much will you earn per year then? So do you want to make a call if you are guaranteed to have $800 per year per one sale? Imagine you are earning $800 with 1 person but what if within that one year you manage to get 10 person? That would be $8000 per year. And by the time you get 10 people, you will be very confident and your experience will increase and who knows within a year you manage to get 100 sales? It would be $80,000 per year. For most of us this amount would be very comfortable.

That is what Mike wanted to tell us. Focus on the Rewards instead of the Process.

Sounds great right?? Yeah but it is absolutely not easy. Mike also said that we are learning or grow by making mistakes. There is nothing wrong if your product is rejected. He even feels happy if someone say NO to his product. This is the part where he can improve and learning again. Therefore in business world all we need is feedback. By getting more feedback, we can become better and better.

Maybe some of you are already know about it and thinking “what a crap story again” and have read a lot of this kind of personal development topic somewhere. However what you read is the true formula to success and take this opportunity to remind you again on what successful people always do. The only thing that make you still who you are now is because you still do not take all the action. You read it and forget it. Hohoo…I can’t imagine I am actually saying this. Even though I am still not successful yet but I really want to so let us learn together and be successful together ok.

Below are some other great statement I quote from the interview:

1. You need to understand that if you are going through a period of insignificance or people around you are saying, “What are you doing Joe? What are you doing Samantha?” and you are wasting your time, wasting your money, that is normal.
2. Mike thinks all greatness starts with one saying yes to an opportunity.
3. One of his earliest mentors said, “If you really want to increase your results you’ve got to start saying yes to life more and say yes to opportunities more.” Everything he had ever done well in his life started with the word yes.
4. Get around with like-minded people. But, he only thinks that is the first step. The second type of people you want to get around is action-minded people. You need people to push you. Therefore start sharing your goal with your close friend and make sure both of you are accountable with each other goal.
5. Both Mike and Stephen encourage all of us who seek success are to look for a mentor in our specific area because by having a mentor, we can have the access to steal their 10 to 30 years of experience, ask questions and absorb within short time period and hence we can apply the skill in our business or other thing.

The last but not least, Dave Martine (Stephen’s and Mike’s mentor) says “Make the rest of your life the best of your life.”
